Supporting diverse suppliers
We have made a strong commitment to creating a more equal playing field for underrepresented entrepreneurs. We work with organizations like the National Minority Supplier Development Council and Women’s Business Enterprise National Council to proactively seek out and qualify businesses owned by women, veterans and minorities.
Improving our hiring practices
We’re dedicated to expanding the reach of our hiring efforts to cultivate a more diverse talent pool and, ultimately, a more diverse workforce at GO2 Partners. These efforts include:
- Utilizing specific recruiting tools to help us reach out to a wider pool of candidates with a focus on finding qualified minority candidates.
- Educating our leaders on unconscious recruiting/hiring bias and cultural differences.
Requiring employee education
We understand the key role that education plays in workplace DE&I (Diversity, equity and inclusion). All employees must complete annual anti-discrimination and diversity and inclusion training, and adhere to the DE&I practices defined in the GO2 Employee Code of Conduct. We also offer ongoing educational resources so employees have many opportunities to understand life from another person’s point of view.
Encouraging philanthropy
Our mission is to create a philanthropic culture that encourages employees to donate their time and resources to charitable organizations they are passionate about. GO2 offers each employee eight hours of paid volunteer time per year and matches financial donations made to charitable organizations by every employee.
Developing a DE&I advisory committee
We created the I.D.E.A. (Inclusion. Diversity. Equality. Action.) Group to focus on improving equality within our company. The mission of the I.D.E.A. Group is to promote a supportive atmosphere that allows all employee-owners in our company to thrive, succeed and recognize the value in their unique experiences. The I.D.E.A. Group seeks to collaborate among offices to provide a comprehensive, company-wide approach to diversity and inclusivity, access and fairness.
